The Owensboro Thoroughbreds came away victorious in their final home game of the season, taking down the Kokomo Bobkats 123-119.
It was Owensboro’s offensive prowess from beyond the arch that allowed them to grab the win over Kokomo. The Thoroughbreds made an impressive 14 threes as a team, while the Bobkats only made six threes.
Five players finished in double figures for Owensboro, three of which scored 20-plus points in the game.
With the season coming to a close, the Thoroughbreds have a two-game road stint before the playoffs start.
In its next matchup Owensboro will take on the Columbus Condors at 7 p.m. on June 26, in Columbus, Ohio.
