The Owensboro Southern 11u and 12u Little League All-Stars fought their hardest but fell in their respective State Championship games.
The 11u All-Stars nearly came away with a state title, but fell just short losing 8-7 in seven innings, thus wrapping up their season.
Meanwhile, the 12u All-Stars were in a tough battle. They surrendered five runs in the first two innings of play, but were able to grab three in the bottom of the second to keep things close.
However, a big eight-run inning led to their demise, making them state runner-ups after a 13-3 loss.
