Coach Drew Cooper and the Kentucky Wesleyan Men’s Basketball team have released their schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season. Included in the schedule is a home matchup against rival Southern Indiana, as well as two games versus new conference foe Ashland.

The Panthers open up their season with the GLVC/G-MAC Challenge on November 12/13 in St. Charles, MO. KWC opens play against Illinois-Springfield on the 12th, followed up by a matchup against Lindenwood the next day. The Panthers close out November with four more non-conference contests, including their home opener against Midway on Tuesday the 16th, and a marquee matchup against Southern Indiana on Wednesday the 24th at the Sportscenter.

The Panther’s conference slate opens up on Thursday, December 2nd, as KWC plays host to reigning conference champion Hillsdale. Kentucky Wesleyan plays five conference games in December, and will close out the month with a home matchup against Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday the 18th.

The New Year will see the Panthers get off and running right away as they host Ohio Dominican and Cedarville on the 1st and 3rd. KWC will then play five of their next six matchups on the road, including a trip to Ashland to take on the newest members of the G-MAC. Ashland won the GLIAC tournament last year and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. They then close the month with a two-game homestand against Malone and Walsh on the 27th and 29th.

Kentucky Wesleyan closes out their regular season with six games in the month of February, highlighted by home matchups against Tiffin and Ashland on the 10th and 12th.

KWC will play 28 games total in their 2021-22 season, with 15 coming at home and 13 on the road. The renewal process for season tickets is currently underway. New season tickets will be available August 23rd and can be purchased by contacting Greg Richard at [email protected].
