Apollo’s boys and girls cross country teams grabbed top-ten finishes at the Forest Park XC Festival in St. Louis, Missouri this weekend.
Apollo’s boy’s finished sixth out of 16 teams while the girls finished eighth out of 14 teams at the Forest Park XC Festival.
The Eagles finished with an average time of 1:38.16 in the White Division, while Josh Thomas led the way in 11th place with a time of 18:34.4.
Emmit Brock followed closely behind in 14th with a time of 18:45.8, while Michael Gray (38th, 20:07.3), Logan Studsill (40th, 20:09.5) and Connor Riedell (55th, 20:38.3) closed out their top-five.
Thomas Ashby also competed individually in the Green Division, earning 16th overall with a time of 16:30.1.
The E-gals finished eighth overall with an average time of 2:04:32, with Ahmira Pickett leading the way in 16th place with a time of 22:27.2.
Adyson Mattingly followed behind in 34th place with a time of 23:51.5, while Chloe Sandefur (51st, 24:55.2), Sarah Rice (67th, 26:31.1) and Olivia Hooker (70th, 26:46.8) rounded out their overall score.
