Daviess County girls golf team came away victorious as a team, while Apollo’s Macy Brown led the way individually at Ben Hawes Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers shot a 189 on the day to lead the pack, while Owensboro Catholic finished in second with a 245 and Owensboro finished in the third with a 261.
Brown’s 37 led the way individually, while her teammate Claire Reynolds finished with a 46. These two were the only E-gals to compete on the day, thus not qualifying them for a team score.
Kirsten Henderson grabbed second on the day individually with a score of 41, leading Daviess County. Addison Heady followed right behind with a 46, Annalee Yager and Baylie Billingsley both finished with a 51 and Megan Haynes finished with a 58.
Alexa Samalah led Owensboro with a score of 48, while RC Porter led Owensboro Catholic with a score of 53 on the day.
