Lady Aces defeat Glasgow for All A Championship

Owensboro Catholic girls soccer grabbed the title of All A Regional Champions on Sunday, defeating Glasgow 10-0.

The Lady Aces offense was unstoppable, as they were able to muster up enough offense to end the match in the first half 10-0.

Junior Maddie Hayden led the way for Owensboro Catholic with four goals on the day, while senior Ashton Logsdon followed right behind with a pair of goals herself.

Four other Lady Aces got in on the offensive showcase with a goal, including junior Katie Riney, sophomore Elizabeth Hayden, junior Gracie Johnson and sophomore Mallary Bailey.

Logsdon led the way in the passing department with three assists, while Riney had two, Bailey had one and freshman Sophie Hayden had one.

The win qualifies Owensboro Catholic for All A State, while also pushing them to 13-3 overall on the season.

The Lady Aces will look to extend their winning streak to four games when they return home to host South Warren at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
