Trinity volleyball stayed hot on Monday, winning their fourth straight match by defeating Grayson County in three sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-15).
The Lady Raiders came out and set the tone for the game in the first set, topping the Lady Cougars 25-17.
With a little bit of momentum on their side and wanting to take a step towards a sweep, Trinity handed Grayson County another 25-17 loss in the second set.
The Lady Raiders made quick work of the Lady Cougars in the third set, winning by double digits at a score of 25-15 to earn the three-set sweep.
Sophomore Hannah Nash led the way offensively finishing with 13 kills, while also recording seven digs to go along with an ace and a block.
Senior Cassidy Morris followed right behind Nash with 10 kills, while also recording four aces and a dig.
Junior Abby Payne led the way defensively with 16 digs, while sophomore Georgia Howard and senior Taylor Pedley finished with 14 and eight digs respectively.
Junior Josie Aull ignited a plethora of offensive opportunities for Trinity on the night, leading the team with a whopping 32 assists.
Trinity’s winning streak is now sitting at four games straight, with all four wins coming in three-set sweeps.
The Lady Raiders sit at 16-4 overall on the season and will look to make it five straight when they take on Breckinridge County at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
