Owensboro was represented well on Tuesday, as multiple golfers placed amongst the top of a field of 75 at Hillcrest Golf Course.
John Carson Malone grabbed first (14) in the three-hole Boy’s 8-under division, while Lincoln Bodne and Hudson Brasher followed with 20.
Jax Malone also grabbed a first place finish by shooting a 69 in the Boy’s 18-hole 16-18 division and was joined by Andrew Powell, who grabbed first (40) in the nine-hole 11-12 Boy’s division.
Baylie Billingsley earned a first place finish with an 80 in the 18-hole 13-15 division on the girls side, while Conleigh Osborne shot a 91 to grab first in the 18-hole 16-18 age division. Osborne was in battle with RC Porter on the day, as she got second with a 105.
The GO Junior Golf Series isn’t venturing off too far for its next event, as golfers will compete at Ben Hawes Golf Course on Thursday.
