On the latest episode of the Sports Spiel, Daviess County girls basketball assistant coach Mike Gilmer joins Owensboro Times Sports Editor Gage Johnson to talk about his playing days, his first year of coaching and teaching.
Gilmer played high school basketball for the Panthers of Daviess County, before eventually going on to join the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan. Upon graduating he began teaching P.E. and has just wrapped up his first year of coaching girls basketball with the Lady Panthers at Daviess County.
