The Tuckessee Street Stock Series will make its second visit of the season to Windy Hollow Speedway on Saturday. The event will be the eighth stop for the series in a 10-race schedule which runs multiple tracks in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Currently, the series points race is being led by Trevor Woodard, who has a seven-point lead over Attica, Indiana, native Megan Erwin. Bobby Gregory sits third in the standings, 17 points off the lead.
The series visited Windy Hollow Speedway on May 18 for a $2,000-to-win race, which saw Owensboro’s Tyler Nicely take home the check, Erwin finishing in second and Jeff Maysey taking third.
On Saturday, the series will race for $,2500-to-win in the event, sponsored by Kelley Trucking. In addition to the CRUSA street stocks, Windy Hollow will host factory stock, economies, bombers, mini stocks, and rusty bolt classes. The track will also host juice box go-carts, power wheel races, and a foot race during intermission.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with qualifying at 7 and racing at 7:30. General admission is $15 for adults, $6 for ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and under.
