McLean County swept Cloverport 3-0, while Apollo beat Breckinridge County 3-1.

Jessie Pate finished with 32 digs, and Avery Gray recorded 20 kills, 17 digs, eight service aces, and three blocks in the E-Gals’ 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-17, 25-22) win over Breckinridge County. Maddi Roberts led the team in assists with 25, while Jessica Lee added 15.
“It was a great game tonight against a tough regional opponent after being off for a few days for fall break,” Apollo Head Coach Mary Howard said. “Our goal going into tonight was to push the pace of play, and our girls were able to do that throughout.

Annie Shelton finished with 12 digs, seven kills, and four service aces, while Lily Burrough added six digs and four assists to power the Lady Cougars past Cloverport 3-0 (25-9, 25-22, 25-8). Abbi Shivers led the team in digs with 14 and added eight service aces, and one kill, while Hadley Young added 12 digs, four service aces, and two kills.
“We played well against the Lady Aces,” McLean County Head Coach Traci Capps said. “We played with a lot of determination and confidence that I want to see carried over for our upcoming district match against Muhlenberg County.”
