The Aces and Cougars both had walk-off wins, while Daviess County outlasted Owensboro in an important 9th District game. In other action, Hancock County fell on the road.

Owensboro Catholic 4, Apollo 3

Tied 3-3 entering the bottom of the ninth, Jake Murphy was hit by a pitch that scored Drew Miles as the Aces walked off Apollo 4-3. Mason Moser went 4-5 with an RBI, Alex Hood finished 2-4, and Jaxson White drove in a run. Mason Russelburg started on the mound, allowing three earned runs over 2 1/3 innings, while Gentry Atwell and Jaxson White combined for six shutout innings.

For Apollo, Ryleigh Logan went 2-4 with two RBIs, Ross Millburn finished 1-3 with an RBI, and Ty Lillpop went 2-4. On the mound, Milburn allowed two earned runs over seven innings, while Logan pitched in relief.

Daviess County 6, Owensboro 3

Tied 3-3 in the fifth, the Panthers scored three runs in the bottom of the inning as they beat Owensboro 6-3. Nolan Johnson went 1-2 with two RBIs, while Weston Lawrence, Rylan Clemons, and John Rue all drove in runs. Lawrence started on the mound, striking out 10 over six innings, while Clemons closed it out with a perfect seventh inning.

For the Red Devils, Eli Hampton went 2-2, Griffin Gaddis drove in a pair of runs, and Max Kahn went 1-3 with an RBI. Dathan Hinton allowed one earned run over three innings, while Jaxson Fogle and Jordan Quesnell both pitched in relief.

Breckinridge County 11, Hancock County 1

Hancock County fell behind 6-0 early and never fully recovered, losing to Breckinridge County 11-1. Jack Roberts went 2-2 and scored a run, while Landis Pate and Colten Severs both had hits.

McLean County 2, Muhlenberg County 1

Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eighth, the Cougars Brooks Lynam stole home to walk off Muhlenberg County 2-1. Lynam went 2-4, Jaelin Groves drove in a run, and Layden Bozarth and Corbin Martin both had hits. Bozarth was lights out on the mound, throwing a complete game and striking out seven over eight innings.
