Daviess County beat Owensboro in an important 9th District game, while Hancock County, McLean County, and Owensboro Catholic all lost.

Daviess County 20, Owensboro 5

Annie Newman homered twice and drove in eight runs to fuel the Lady Panthers past Owensboro 20-5. Molly Hancock went 3-3 with a homer and four RBIs, Shelby Bennett went 3-3 with three RBIs, and Briley Henry drove in a pair of runs. Sophia Cain threw a complete game in the circle, allowing four earned runs over four innings, striking out four.

For Owensboro, Sydney Stallings hit a grand slam, Hayley Sikes went 1-2 and scored a run, and Gracey Beth Parker went 1-1 with an RBI.

Meade County 10, Hancock County 1

Bella Bryant went 2-3 with an RBI as the Lady Hornets lost to Meade County 10-1. Ansley House, Gracie Gaynor, and Aubree Mosby all had hits, while Madyson Higdon drew a walk. Bryant started in the circle, throwing three shutout innings, while Gaynor and Ryleigh French both pitched in relief.

Muhlenberg County 16, McLean County 0

Ohio County 3, Owensboro Catholic 2

Tied 2-2, the Lady Aces allowed a run in the bottom of the sixth as they fell to Ohio County 3-2. Taylor Clark went 1-4 with two RBIs, Carley Brey finished 2-3, and Emma Riney went 1-2 and scored a run. Ava Mudd threw a complete game, allowing three earned runs over six innings, striking out seven.
