Ending their regular season, Daviess County took care of Logan County, while Hancock County and McLean County both lost.
Daviess County 6, Logan County 2
Logan Mason went 1-3 with a homer and two RBIs to fuel Daviess County past Logan County 6-2. John Rue finished 1-3 with three RBIs, Byron Jarboe went 2-2 with an RBI, and Cameron Rickard walked twice and scored a run. Mason started on the mound, allowing one earned run over four innings, while Anthony Brinkley pitched three innings in relief.
Ohio County 6, Hancock County 4
Leading 3-0 in the sixth, the Hornets gave up six runs in the inning and never fully recovered, losing to Ohio County 6-4. Porter Hay finished 3-4, and Dylan Mucker and Kolby Keown both drove in runs. Keown allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings, and Landis Pate and Colten Severs both pitched in relief.
Christian County 14, McLean County 3
Brooks Lynam went 2-2, and Will Gatton had the team’s lone RBI as the Cougars fell to Christian County 14-3. Layden Bozarth went 1-3, and Jayden Taylor and Corbin Martin both walked. Jaelin Groves started on the mound, giving up four runs, while Lynam, Martin, and Taylor all pitched in relief.
