Apollo cruised past Logan County, and Owensboro Catholic came from behind to beat Christian County. In other action, McLean County lost a heartbreaker on the road.

Apollo 14, Logan County 4

Tyler Hall finished 1-4 with a homer and three RBIs to power the E-Gals past Logan County 14-4. Arianna Ramirez and Keelan Wettstain combined for five hits and six RBIs, and Kaylee Booker drove in a pair of runs. Hannah Holder threw a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs over five innings, striking out a pair.

Breckinridge County 8, McLean County 6

Leading 6-4 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Lady Cougars allowed four runs as they fell to Breckinridge County 8-6. Kyra Nichols went 4-4 with an RBI, Ava McCarty drove in a pair of runs, and Kylie Rickard and Kaydence Stokes both had RBIs. Maci Geel started in the circle, allowing seven earned runs over 5 1/3 innings, while McCarty recorded the final two outs in relief.

Owensboro Catholic 4, Christian County 2

Trailing 2-3 entering the bottom of the third, the Lady Aces scored three runs en route to a 4-2 win over Christian County. Maddie Alvey went 2-2 with an RBI, while Carley Brey and Abi Murphy both drove in runs. Ava Mudd threw a complete game in the circle, striking out 12 and allowing one earned run over six innings.
