It was a down day for Owensboro Southern Little League as both their 10U and 11U team’s fell.
Warren County South 10U 6, Owensboro Southern Little League 10u All Stars 3
Owensboro Southern jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but couldn’t close it out down the stretch, falling to Warren County South 6-3. After allowing two runs in the top of the second, Owensboro Southern tied it in the bottom of the inning. Warren County South broke the game open with a four-run third inning, but Owensboro Southern added a run in the fourth to cut the lead to 6-3.
BG East 11 Year Old All-Stars 4, Owensboro Southern Little League 11U All-Stars
After starting the season 3-0, Owensboro Southern’s undefeated season has come to an end, losing to BG East 4-0. Bronson Gregory drew a pair of walks, while Eli Murphy and Colt McFadden both had the team’s lone hits. Jackson Phelan started on the mound, striking out two over 2 2/3 innings, while William Hagan and Murphy both pitched in relief.
