Owensboro Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred over the weekend.
On Saturday, at approximately 11:06 p.m., four black males forced their way into a residence in the 800 block of Walnut Street. When confronted by the resident, a single gunshot was fired by one of the suspects before they fled the location. There were multiple people inside the residence at the time of the burglary, but no one was injured.
