Owensboro Catholic boys soccer showed out on senior night, as they were able to fend off Ohio County in a 3-1 home win to open up the week.
The Aces had a trio of goal scorers, with sophomore Ben Dawson, junior Brody Martin and senior Austin Martin all scoring on the night. Senior Thomas Eyre, senior Gage Johnson and Brody all had an assist each.
Owensboro Catholic took 17 shots on the day with eight of them on goal, while Ohio County had three shots with one on goal. The Aces improve to 8-4-3 overall with the win, now taking a couple of days off before taking on Bethlehem at 1 p.m. in the All-A Classic State Tournament on Saturday.
