The Senior Community Center of Owensboro-Daviess County called a special called meeting for the New Facility Committee on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting at the Senior Center will happen in their 2nd Street facility at 1:30 p.m.
During the meeting, the committee will go into closed session and no action will be taken during the meeting.
The Senior Center was planning to partner with the family YMCA at their location after a series of renovations to the Kentucky Parkway building. After a July feasibility study found it would take $4.5 to $7 million to get the facility to their needs, the Senior Center board decided not to go forward with the plans.
City and County officials have expressed finding solutions for the new location after the board decided not to.
