Dr. Matthew Constant appeared in court Tuesday for a pretrial conference, though little happened beyond setting the next court date.
Constant was indicted by a grand jury in October on one count of the Class D felony of tampering with physical evidence. He pleaded not guilty later that month. That is currently the only charge Constant has for which Constant has been indicted.
The case is being heard by Daviess Circuit Judge Jay Wethington.
During the brief court appearance Tuesday, defense attorney Michael Lee said that more discovery was needed but did not provide further details.
Constant is scheduled to appear in court again on April 9 for another pretrial conference.
