Ayden Farrow is facing new charges of murder (complicity) and second-degree assault (complicity) in connection with the shooting, and investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that may have been near the scene.

The 19-year-old who was killed has been identified, and authorities say the suspect wanted for murder in the case turned himself in to police.

The suspect wanted for murder for the fatal shooting on Saturday in the Knottsville area has been arrested in Boone County, according to jail records.
James Semaj Carr, 20, was taken into custody Sunday night by the Florence Police Department. Jail records show Carr was arrested at 10:28 p.m. and booked shortly before midnight on a $1 million cash bond.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office was seeking Carr, and authorities had released a wanted poster identifying him as a suspect in the case. Carr was wanted by DCSO on charges of murder, second-degree assault, and tampering with physical evidence, according to the poster.
The investigation began early Saturday morning when authorities responded to a shooting reported at approximately 1 a.m. near KY 144 and St. Lawrence Road, where a large field party had been taking place. A 19-year-old male died after being transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, while a juvenile was also injured and later released.
Investigators later determined two men from Oldham County had traveled to the gathering after being invited by people attending the party. Authorities previously said an altercation occurred before a firearm was introduced into the situation.
Another man, Ayden Louis Farrow, 19, of La Grange, was previously arrested and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension and tampering with physical evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have said additional charges are possible.
