Hancock County beat Daviess County in an important 3rd Region game, while Apollo and Owensboro Catholic both won.

Apollo 12, Lyon County 2

Gunnar Hendricks was dominant at the plate, going 4-4 with a homer and five RBIs to fuel the Eagles past Lyon County 12-2. Ryleigh Logan drove in a pair of runs, and Jagger Pate went 2-4. Gage Logsdon allowed two earned runs over 4 2/3 innings, while Pate pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings in relief.

Hancock County 10, Daviess County 4

The Hornets jumped out to a 4-0 third-inning lead en route to a 10-4 win over Daviess County. Jack Roberts went 3-4 with an RBI, Porter Hay finished 4-5 with an RBI, and Chance Lyday scored four runs. Hay was lights out on the mound, allowing two earned runs over seven innings, striking out nine.

For the Panthers, Byron Jarboe went 2-3, while Nolan Johnson and Blake Huff both drove in runs. Johnson started on the mound, allowing three earned runs over 3 1/3 innings, while Rylan Clemmons pitched in relief.

Owensboro Catholic 6, South Warren 2

Lane Hundley threw a gem on the mound, allowing two earned runs over four innings and striking out four as the Aces beat South Warren 6-2. Drew Miles walked twice and scored a pair of runs, Mason Moser went 1-3 with an RBI, and Jake Murphy went 1-4 with an RBI. Gentry Atwell and Jaxson White combined for three shutout innings in relief.
