Apollo, McLean County, and Owensboro Catholic all won big, while Daviess County dropped a heartbreaker on the road.

Apollo 11, Caldwell County 0

The Eagles scored nine runs in the bottom of the third as the Eagles shutout Caldwell County 11-0. Lucas Cambron and Jackson Carder both drove in a pair of runs, Ty Lillpop, Jagger Pate, and Gunnar Hendricks combined for six hits and three RBIs. Gage Logsdon threw a complete game shutout on the mound, striking out three over five innings.

Greenwood 6, Daviess County 5

Leading 5-4 entering the bottom of the seventh, the Panthers allowed two runs as they lost to Greenwood 6-5. Gavin Howard walked twice and Caden Embry, Logan Mason, and Nolan Johnson all drove in runs. Blake Huff allowed four earned runs over four innings, and Bradyn Morris and Caleb Shively both pitched in relief.

McLean County 8, Lyon County 3

The Cougars jumped out to an early two-run lead and never looked back as they beat Lyon County 8-3. Jaelin Groves went 3-4 with an RBI as the Cougars beat Lyon County 8-3. Jayden Taylor drove in a pair of runs, and Kaysen Bozarth finished 1-2 with an RBI. Layden Bozarth gave up one unearned run over three innings, and Corbin Martin pitched three innings in relief, striking out four.

Owensboro Catholic 10, Madisonville-North Hopkins 0

The Aces scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth as they shutout Madisonville-North Hopkins 10-0. Gentry Atwell and Jaxson White combined for six shutout innings and nine strikeouts. Alex Hood went 2-3 with two RBIs, and Barrett Evans scored twice and went 3-3.
