The Green River District Health Department is offering COVID-19 testing at Dugan Best Park from 9-11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Health Department Director Clay Horton said their other testing sites have still been busy even with the lighter load of new cases.

Horton said they are asking people to register for the mobile tests to make the process faster and easier, but it’s not a requirement. Available time slots are shown at healthdepartment.org

“There are no requirements in terms of needing symptoms,” Horton said. “Anyone who wants a test can get a test.”

Horton said the GRDHD has been doing mobile sites for a few weeks in target areas where they think the community will have barriers for transportation, as well as locations where people likely wouldn’t seek out a test if it wasn’t in their area.

As of right now, only one day of testing is scheduled for Dugan Best, but Horton said his staff is looking for future dates at other locations.

Dugan Best Park is located at 1003 Omega Street.
