A total of 214 more cases of COVID-19 and 13 more coronavirus-related deaths were confirmed Tuesday for the Green River District, including 88 cases and five deaths in Daviess County. Deaths were also reported in Hancock (2), Henderson (1), McLean (2), Ohio (2) and Webster (1) counties.
A total of 99 recoveries were also reported for the district.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (88), Hancock (13), Henderson (41), McLean (13), Ohio (23), Union (17), Webster (19)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (43), Hancock (2), Henderson (21), McLean (1), Ohio (18), Union (9), Webster (5)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 6,869
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 5,399 (80%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 44
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 455 (7%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 122
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 2,708 cases, 2,162 recovered, 16 current hospitalizations, 169 ever hospitalized, 39 deaths
- Hancock County – 231 cases, 161 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 14 ever hospitalized, 8 deaths
- Henderson County – 1,726 cases, 1,353 recovered, 12 current hospitalizations, 124 ever hospitalized, 37 deaths
- McLean County – 323 cases, 223 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 25 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Ohio County – 801 cases, 641 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 56 ever hospitalized, 14 deaths
- Union County – 622 cases, 523 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 37 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths
- Webster County – 458 cases, 336 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 30 ever hospitalized, 6 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
