The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center is in immediate need of O positive blood donations. They will be holding an emergency blood drive from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
The drive will be held at the WKRBC building located at 3015 Old Hartford Road. They’ll also be open until 4:30 p.m. today.
O positive blood donors may call 270-684-9296 to schedule an appointment.
According to WKRBC officials, cancellations due to road conditions as well as demand have outpaced their collections.
All COVID-19 precautions are still in place.
