KC and the Sunshine Band are headlining a Disco at The DAM concert in Beaver Dam on June 10, with special guest The Boogie Knights opening the show.
“In the upper echelon of pop music greats and icons, KC and the Sunshine Band are right there at the top of the list. Few artists have had such an incredible lasting impact and worldwide popularity,” said Heath Eric, Promoter with The Eric Group. “This night is all about shaking your booty and having a ‘DAM’ good time with a legendary band.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. this Saturday.
KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco and funk band that was founded in 1973. Their best-known songs include the hits That’s the Way and Shake Your Booty as well as Get Down Tonight. The group has had six top 10 singles, five number one singles and a number two single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Boogie Knights were originally formed in October 1992 as a Halloween gag in Los Angeles. Complete with choreography, polyester, afros and bell bottoms, The Boogie Knights are dedicated to putting on “the greatest disco revival show in the world.”
