Glenn Funeral Home will be collecting supplies for Puzzle Pieces this month during “Glenn’s Give & Go,” a community-focused event designed to quickly and easily support local nonprofit organizations.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 4, the community is invited to participate in a drive-thru donation event at the Glenn Funeral Home parking lot at 900 New Hartford Road. Simply pull up to the designated collection area, and an attendant will collect the donations.
For those unable to attend the event, donations can still be dropped off inside Glenn Funeral Home during regular business hours until June 11.
Items needed for donation include new, not used:
- Cleaning wipes
- Baby wipes
- Dry erase markers
- Fidgets
- Velcro
- Laminating sheets
- Cleaning supplies
- Black pens
- Shaving cream
- Glue sticks
- Construction paper
- Markers
- Crayons
- Loose leaf paper
- Paper clips
- Sticky notes
- Labels and label tape
- Scotch tape
- 13 gallon trash bags
- Dry snacks (goldfish, pretzels)
- Bottled water
“Join us in giving back and supporting Puzzle Pieces as they provide a safe environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities and promote independence, life skills, community access and involvement, social interaction, communication skills, self-worth, and trusting relationships between clients, staff, and families,” Glenn officials said in a release.
