Free event for college students to boldly live out their faith

Owensboro area college students are invited to join together for the inaugural event, Endeavor on Saturday, March 16th.

Owensboro area college students are invited to join together for the inaugural event, Endeavor on Saturday, March 16th. The theme for the first annual event is to provide an active workshop style training to equip college students to utilize their day-to-day mission fields and share their faith-story boldly through understanding their identity, developing their stories and praying for opportunities and obedience.

Campus ministry coordinators for the event desire to connect Christ-following college students in the surrounding area from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro Community and Technical College, Brescia University, and WKU-Owensboro. Attending college presents unique challenges, creators of the event plan to address real-life issues of living in the world while following Jesus.

Endeavor: Stories in Training will be held on March 16, 2019, at KWC (3000 Frederica Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301), in Rogers Hall located in the Winchester Campus and Community Center from 11a-2p. The event is free and lunch will be provided. Registration for the event is recommended – the first 75 registrants will also receive a free t-shirt.

Speakers for the event include Theresa Rowe from Shaped by Faith and Cheryl Goss from Connecting Ministries.
