RBS Design Group announces Licensed Architect Jeremiah Hawkins to become partner
Owensboro, Kentucky- March 4, 2021 – RBS Design Group announces the promotion of Jeremiah Hawkins to Architect. Hawkins has passed all architectural license exams and the Architect Registration Examination to become a licensed architect as of February 11, 2021.
Jeremiah Hawkins, originally from Beaver Dam, Kentucky, earned a bachelor’s of arts in architecture from the University of Kentucky in 2015 and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Kentucky in 2017. Hawkins has been a Project Coordinator with RBS Design Group since 2018. Prior to joining RBS, he worked at Schimberg Group Architecture & Design in Sarasota, Florida where he worked in commercial, residential, and restaurant projects.
In his new role, Hawkins will lead the firm and projects collaboratively with Mike Ranney, Craig Thomas, Kyle Abney, and Jeanie Cannon. Jeremiah brings to the leadership team creative design thinking, a keen ability to connect with people, and mentorship to colleagues.
The client partnerships that Hawkins holds spans across the state of Kentucky, serving numerous school districts.
RBS Design Group hires Riney as Marketing Coordinator
Owensboro, Kentucky- March 4, 2021 – Sidney Riney has been hired as the Marketing Coordinator for RBS Design Group. Riney began her role with the organization on February 15, 2021.
Sidney Riney, a native of Owensboro, has been with the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation (GOEDC) for the past three years. Sidney was hired as the Executive Assistant in 2018 and was promoted to Business Office and Communications Manager of the GOEDC in 2019.
During her previous roles, she received her certification in Basic Community and Economic Development through the Kentucky Institute for Economic Development. Riney earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate and organizational communication from Western Kentucky University, accompanied by a minor in marketing and is currently working toward a master’s degree in digital marketing and communications management through Union College.
Sidney is a graduate of the Leadership Owensboro Class of 2019 and is an active member of Chamber Young Professionals. Riney is also a board member of the Owensboro Regional Farmers Market and serves on the Hospice Spring Fling Planning Committee.
