Valor Oil announces the purchase of Loris, South Carolina-based Ford’s Fuel Service, Inc. assets, effective Dec. 15, 2021.

The Ford family has been a prominent petroleum wholesale distributor in the Carolinas since 1923. Frankie and Bunky Ford have grown the business tremendously since taking over operations from their father, Frank Senior. Ford’s provides services to retail, commercial, industrial, agricultural, oil heat and governmental customers with unbranded and branded fuels, lubricants, and race fuels. Ford’s sold their propane business in October 2021 to Blossman Propane.
Valor Oil is a 3rd-generation family owned company based in Owensboro, Kentucky and is a full-line petroleum distributor and C-store operator. They have a physical presence in Owensboro, Bowling Green, Louisville, Florence and Maysville, Kentucky.
