(Owensboro, KY) April 24, 2023 – Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, and Cromwell Media are excited to announce the second annual Make-A-Wish World Wish Day Request-A-Thon on 94.7 WBIO on Friday, April 28th, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hosted by Mel Ford and Rob Nichols, the goal for the event is to raise $15,000 with all the funds going to help Make-A-Wish grant more life-changing wishes for Owensboro and western Kentucky kids with critical illnesses.
The inspiring 12-hours will be filled with uplifting wish stories from local families, information about the Make-A-Wish mission, and how to volunteer. During the event, listeners can request songs in exchange for donations by calling the Don Moore Automotive Hotline at 270-883- 3665. Tune in for the entire day to ensure you don’t miss surprise special guests making on-air appearances!
