Rolling Pin Pastry Shop will open at 4 a.m. Saturday after having to close for just more than a month to make repairs to damage sustained after a driver crashed into the building on Christmas Eve.

On Friday afternoon, officials with Rolling Pin wrote in a Facebook post:

All inspections passed! Time to make some donuts!!! We will be here at 4am tomorrow for you with them fresh and ready. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Earlier this week, part of a Facebook post by Rolling Pin read:

We are so thankful to everyone for hanging in there with us and being supportive. Obviously none of this was expected. We have been closed longer than we had originally hoped but the more we inspected the more we discovered affected from the collision. Good news is nobody was hurt and we are almost all buttoned up with the repairs.

On Dec. 24, a vehicle struck the front side of Rolling Pin just before 5 p.m., tearing down part of the wall and breaking some of the windows before leaving the scene. There were no injuries from the incident, and the driver was charged with leaving the scene.
