The newest store to the east end of Owensboro, 2nd & Charles is set to open Jan. 19 in Gateway Commons.
2nd & Charles is a used book store, but accepts items from CDs and DVDs to games and toys to musical instruments and electronics. According to the store’s website, customers are encouraged to bring those items in to exchange for either cash or store credit.
During their grand opening, the store will offer customers the chance to register for a $500 shopping spree and a will give a free grand opening tote with any $25 purchase while supplies last. There will also be character appearances, giveaways and face painting.
2nd & Charles is located at 2520 Calumet Trace, next to Gabe’s.
