Beshear to issue order to close all Kentucky restaurants, bars

Kentucky restaurants and bars are expected to close to in-person traffic by 5 p.m. today, though drive-thru and delivery will remain open as options.

Gov. Andy Beshear made the announcement Monday as the latest response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m going to put out the order today to close all restaurants and bars to close all restaurants and bars to in-person traffic. We’re going to have exceptions in there for drive thru, for delivery. We are to the point now where this is a step we have to take.”
