Residents at the Carmel Home, located at 2501 Old Hartford Road, are on quarantine until Sunday due to the flu.
A Carmel Home worker reported a few of the residents caught the flu and have the stomach bug so they are being proactive with precautionary procedures.
Visitations, including family members, are not being accepted, according to Carmel Home, and may reopen by Sunday for mass.
Residents are confined to their rooms until further notice and are also served food on disposable dishes.
