Effective Monday, the Owensboro Transit System will make the following modifications to their operations in an effort to the public and employees from the transmission of COVID-19:

• Trolley service will discontinue until further notice
• Bus fares will be eliminated and the ticket window will be close in the Transit lobby
• Use of the front doors will be restricted on the buses with the exception of those meeting ADA requirements
• Impose social distancing of 6 feet from the driver
