The City of Owensboro invites the public to attend the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Fairview Drive extension. The event will take place at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the end of Fairview Drive, located in the back of the Downs Subdivision.
Guests are encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask for their safety.
The 2,600-foot road extension will span from the current terminus in the Downs Subdivision to the intersection of KY 603 and Hayden Road and will serve as the primary access to the new Daviess County Middle School, as well as other developing property.
