Mayoral, City Commission candidates participate in live Town Hall

Owensboro’s Mayoral and City Commission candidates participated in the OT Virtual Town Hall Tuesday to discuss a handful of issues facing the City and present their platforms to voters.

Links to all three sessions of the Town Hall are provided below.

The sessions were as follows:

  • 1 p.m. — City Commission candidates Mark Castlen, Jeff Sanford, Jared Revlett, Michael Walker, Deanna Endicott-Smith, Bill Moss, Andy Gamblin, Bob Glenn
  • 3 p.m. — City Commission candidates Larry Maglinger, Gordy Wilcher, Deirdre Carbon, Dale Taylor, Walter Lee, Jay Velotta, Debbie Fillman
  • 6 p.m. — Mayoral candidates Larry Conder, Pam Smith-Wright, Tom Watson, Dracin Williams

The OT Virtual Town Hall was presented by Castlen Steel and Daniel Dick – State Farm Insurance Agent and was held at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. OT partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.

OT also published an Election Guide on Tuesday to accompany the Town Hall. It includes some of the most important info voters need to know.

Included in the OT Voter’s Guide — click here to access — are brief biographies and platforms for Owensboro’s Mayoral and City Commission candidates, as well as those running for local school boards. Also included is the ability to download a sample ballot and the Daviess County General Election plan from the Clerk’s Office.
