According to a release from the Owensboro Police Department, officers responded to a business robbery call at approximately 8:30 a.m. Sunday after a male — later identified as Mitchell — entered the building demanding money and indicating he was armed with a gun.

The suspect then fled on foot before officers arrived. No money was stolen and no one was injured in the robbery.
