Owensboro Health is offering a walk-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic tonight at Friday After 5. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for ages 12 and up, and a guardian is required for those aged 12-17.
The vaccine site will run from 5-6:30 p.m. in the city parking lot across from the RiverPark Center on Veteran’s Boulevard. Staff will be present to answer any questions or concerns surrounding the vaccine.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Owensboro Health and the opportunity to offer free vaccines at Friday After 5,” said FA5 Executive Director Francine Marseille. “It works out great because people can come back in two weeks for their second round and enjoy another evening of fun.”
The ultimate goal for both parties is convenience and making the vaccine accessible to everyone. Owensboro Health also offers walk-in appointments at the hospital as well as a drive-thru clinic at The Springs Health Care.
