Green River District COVID-19 update — July 30

The Green River District Health Department reported 302 new confirmed COVID-19 cases for the district on Friday — with 108 in Daviess County. GRDHD also reported that 2020 COVID-19 data reconciliation added an additional 164 COVID-19 cases for the district. The  newly reported cases were investigated between Tuesday and Thursday.  

GRDHD also reported new cases in the following counties: 4 in Hancock, 90 in Henderson, 13 in McLean, 37 in Ohio, 24 in Union, and 26 in Webster.

There was also a COVID-19-related death in Webster County.

The current 7-day average for new cases in the seven-county Green River District is 80.7 new cases per day. All seven counties are now areas of high or substantial transmission.

As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:

  • Reported cases: 24,044 (11,327 for Daviess)
  • Currently hospitalized: 23 (14 for Daviess)
  • Ever hospitalized: 963 (380 for Daviess)
  • Deaths: 413 (191 for Daviess)
