At 3:51 p.m. Owensboro Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in a single-family home on the 500 block of Triplett Street. There were no injuries.
Owensboro Police Department and AMR also responded to the call.
OFD Battalion Chief Steve Leonard said thhey were able to put the fire out quickly upon arrival. Homeowners made it out safely and with no injuries.
The home experienced minor fire damage according to Leonard.
The cause is currently being investigated.
