DCSO: Portion of U.S. 60 East to be closed for hours after multi-vehicle accident

Update — A driver going the wrong way caused a three-vehicle accident where one driver was ejected and another had to be extricated Sunday night on U.S. 60 East, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. Full story on those details here.

Multiple agencies are working the scene of a three-vehicle accident with multiple injuries in the 6800 block of U.S. 60 East. The roadway will be closed for several hours, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

That portion of the road is near Wrights Landing Road, about 2.5 miles northeast of the intersection of U.S. 60 and KY 144.
