Thanks to an own goal by Meade County, Owensboro drew with the Lady Waves 3-3 on the second night of a back-to-back. Ella Hall and Lily-Paige Early both scored, while Lily Nieman had an assist. Splitting time in net, Hayley Sikes finished with four saves, while Drew Kurz had two.
“We started out sluggish and tired, but still had some good moments throughout the game,” Owensboro Head Coach Sarah Poole said. “We switched our entire formation towards the end to find the goal, and the girls adjusted well. We have been playing most of the girls in a variety of positions, and I’ve been happy with their versatility.”
