Owensboro Catholic beat Henderson County, while Daviess County beat Trinity (Whitesville) on the road.

Jenna Lawson finished with 10 assists, nine digs, and one service ace, and Haylee Clark had 11 kills, three blocks, and two digs in the Lady Panthers’ 2-0 (28-26, 25-11) win over Trinity (Whitesville). Lexi Jones posted 14 digs, four kills, three assists, and one service ace, while Reese Whiteside added 10 kills, three digs, and one block.
For the Lady Raiders, Emmy Edge recorded 13 assists, seven digs, and two kills, while Laney Mills had 13 digs. Annie Commes had three kills and a block, Ava Commes finished with four kills and two blocks, Lily Goetz added five kills, and Gracie Mills posted four kills.
“We played well in the first set,” Trinity (Whitesville) Head Coach Adam Huff said. “We battled back at the end, but we just couldn’t carry any momentum to the second set. We just didn’t match their energy in the second.”
