On Wednesday, the Lady Aces outlasted Owensboro, while Hancock County cruised past Breckinridge County.
Hancock County sweeps Breckinridge County
Continuing their impressive season, Hancock County swept Breckinridge County behind the Hornets and Lady Hornets winning 8-1 and 3-2.
Lukas Anderson had a dominant 8-2 singles win, while Caleb Ewing (8-1), Tyce Boling (8-3), Payne Pence (8-2), Van Reska (8-1), and Matthias Herrmann (8-0) all followed suit. On the doubles side, Reska and Herrmann and Anderson and Ewing both won 8-4 and 8-2.
For the Lady Hornets, they fell behind early in singles, but Kylee Ashworth won her match 8-3, followed up by the doubles teams of Adriana Taylor and Haleigh Douglass and Ruchi Patel and Kylee Bowlds.
Lady Aces take down Owensboro
Hosting the Lady Devils, Owensboro Catholic won 7-2 behind the singles play of Meredith Traylor, Madison Clark, Alexis Moyers, and Gabi Moyers. On the doubles side, the duos of Alexis Moyers and Gabi Moyers and Annabelle Kirkland and Lila Helwig both emerged victorious.
For the Lady Devils, Lala Cecil and Anna Travis both won their singles matches.
