In a busy evening of softball, Apollo, Daviess County, McLean County, and Trinity (Whitesville) all won, while Owensboro Catholic lost. In other action, Owensboro dropped their doubleheader.
Apollo 19, South Spencer 1
The E-Gals offense exploded for 16 runs in the top of the third en route to a 19-1 win over South Spencer. Tyler Hall homered twice and drove in six runs, Keelan Wettstain drove in three runs, and Arianna Ramirez and Emersyn Bullington both drove in a pair of runs. Mollie Julian gave up one earned run over three innings, and Maliyah Bratcher and Hannah Holder both pitched in relief.
Daviess County 12, Butler County 2
Briley Henry homered twice and drove in five runs to power the Lady Panthers past Butler County 12-2. Annie Newman went 2-4 with two RBIs and Kylie Clark finished 2-3 with three RBIs. Sophia Cain allowed two earned runs over three innings, while Storey Hume pitched two shutout innings in relief.
McLean County 15, Hopkinsville 3
The Lady Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 first-inning lead and never looked back, beating Hopkinsville 15-3. Emily Howard finished 2-4 with five RBIs, and Adalynn Estes and Kyra Nichols combined for four hits and six runs scored. Ava McCarty struck out eight and allowed one earned run over seven innings.
Owensboro swept in doubleheader
Playing a doubleheader against Logan County, the Lady Devils lost both games 17-14 and 15-6.
Hayley Sikes finished the night 3-7 with a homer, Taylor Sowders went 2-7 with two RBIs, and Sydney Stallings drove in five runs.
In the first game, Audrey Potter threw a complete game on the mound, allowing four earned runs over seven innings. Paisley Hodge pitched the second game, allowing two earned runs over five innings.

Trinity (Whitesville) 12, Grayson County 2
Camryn Preston went 1-3 with two RBIs as the Lady Raiders cruised past Grayson County 12-2. Avary Emmick finished 2-4 with three RBIs, and Sadie Morris and Lucy Hallmark both drove in runs.
