Local track teams top leaderboards at Spring Relays

Owensboro easily took the top spot in the boys’ competition and the Apollo girls edged Daviess County for first place in the Spring Relays on Tuesday at Owensboro Middle School.

Finishing behind Owensboro (113 points) in the boy’s division were Apollo (86.5), Daviess County (81), Muhlenberg County (61) and Owensboro Catholic (49.5).

On the girls’ side, Apollo’s 103.5 points was enough to slide past Daviess County (94.50),. While Owensboro (82.5), Henderson County (52) and Owensboro Catholic (48) rounded out the top five.
