The Apollo Eagles fell behind in the first and couldn’t keep the Breckinridge County bats at bay as they fell 9-3 Wednesday at home.

Breck scored three in the first inning and despite cutting it to 3-2 in the fourth, that’s as close as the Eagles would get with the Tigers scoring six runs in the final three innings.

Maxwell Holder finished 2-2 at the plate with two doubles while Dan St. Clair, Nolan Millay and Landon Hamilton had RBIs for Apollo.

Apollo plays today at Webster County.
